Katie Moran is a Los Angeles based Graphic Designer. She received her BFA in Graphic Design & Photography from The College of New Jersey and has a passion for connecting the dots between fine art and functional technology.
"Unconventional beauty has always been something that inspires me. My style of design reflects my personality - colorful, multi-faceted, and balanced. I believe that the best design is found when a firm understanding of technical rules meets out-of-the-box creativity. In my photography, I enjoy finding subjects that are unexpectedly beautiful, giving the viewer a new perspective. Drastic angles and selective focusing are elements I enjoy working with. Working in New York City has taught me how to firmly stand my ground and defend my work, while also understanding when it's okay to let go of an idea and move on. Working in Los Angeles has taught me how to make my work stand out amongst a sea of beauty. So many beautiful things go unnoticed every day in our haste to get things done. With my artwork, I like to show the busy people of the world what they’re missing. In the future I hope to widen my lens to everything this world has to offer me. I am ready and open to all of the experiences that lie ahead of me to help me grow into a better artist." -KM
